BRICS Academy and INO Permanent Secretariat Hold Coordination Meeting Ahead of the 2nd INOHS
A virtual coordination meeting was held on September 1, 2026, between the BRICS Academy of Skills Development and Technology Innovation in China and the International Nanotechnology Olympiad (INO) Permanent Secretariat, represented by the Director of the INO Permanent Secretariat.
The meeting was held as part of the ongoing preparations for the 2nd International Nanotechnology Olympiad for High School Students (INOHS), which will be hosted by the BRICS Academy in China on December 20, 2026, in a fully virtual format.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed and coordinated key aspects of the upcoming Olympiad, including the event’s organizational arrangements, registration process, implementation timeline, and other matters related to hosting the competition.
According to the agreed timeline, registration for the 2nd INOHS will be open from October 1 to October 31, 2026. The Olympiad will then take place virtually on December 20, 2026, bringing together high school students with an interest in nanotechnology and related fields.
The meeting marked another important step toward strengthening international cooperation and ensuring the successful organization of the second edition of the INOHS.
With the continued cooperation between the BRICS Academy of Skills Development and Technology Innovation and the INO Permanent Secretariat, preparations for the 2nd INOHS are progressing toward an exciting international event that aims to inspire the next generation of young innovators in nanotechnology.
